See what it’s like to be a CSU student-athlete with Lady Defender Softball!

Friday

Start off Friday with a glimpse of what it’s like to be part of the CSU family! Join us to eat lunch, meet students, attend chapel and get insider tips about financial aid. You can opt to meet with a professor or attend a class, too! 

The Defender Softball Prospect Camp activities begin at 2:30 p.m. Camp will include individual instruction, hitting and fielding drills, a controlled scrimmage, and you will also be coached in the mental aspect of the game. You will enjoy a meal with the team and get to know your teammates and coaches through a Q&A session and fun activities planned for Friday night. 

Saturday

Saturday’s camp activities run through noon and will include a full batting practice and brunch. After that, you are welcome to stick around to watch our CSU Defender games Saturday afternoon.

Through it all, you will get to see the CSU Defender difference in action—experiencing our campus and getting to know your future teammates and coaches. You’ll see what it’s like to play for a university where people care about your athletic skill development and also your personal development. At CSU, your coaches and professors get to know you and your goals personally, helping you to become all that God wants you to be!

Camp Details

AGE: 9^th – 12^th grade softball player (23-24 school year)

FAMILY: Parents are welcome to attend any activities free of charge. 

COSTS: There are no costs for you! Your housing, meals, activities and softball instruction are all free for you as our guest. When you register, you are welcome to purchase an official CSU Lady Defender softball practice jersey for $10.

WHAT TO BRING: Your softball gear. Bedding and toiletries for your overnight stay in the residence halls.

Camp space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Registration closes on September 15.
